During his 10 years as sales manager and head of application technology in an international group in the field of gases and gas/welding technology, he quickly recognized the potential for new effective beveling machines in many discussions with customers, in order to meet the modern and often automated welding processes, according to the motto "A good weld preparation is half the welding".

By recruiting Ralf Dappers (Dipl.-Ing.) in the area of commercial management with a focus on financing, controlling and marketing and Dirk Siffrin as a lawyer in the area of commercial management with a focus on sales, personnel and general administration, he brought the right executives into his team to position GERIMA for the future and to internationalize it.
