GERIMA presents its new pipe cutting and beveling machine MMP.
With this new machine concept pipes can be cut and chamfered
in one orbital clamping. The two units for cutting and beveling
are built on a aluminium ring. For this reason the system is very
compact and simplify the handling very much. Only with a hand gear
the user can move the ring on the left side for cutting or on the
right side for beveling. With only one orbital turn the pipe can be
cut or chamfered.
Finally a very compact pipe cutting and beveling machine. 
Initially the MMP system will be offered for the diameter range
20-170 mm (MMP 170), and 40-320 mm (MMP 320), each for material
thicknesses 2-12 mm. Customized solutions for other diameter or
wall thickness ranges are possible.

Mobile beveling in a new dimension
A New Generation of beveling machines makes it very economical and ergonomically working chamfers
on plates / tubes down to a bevel width of 20 mm for steel / 40 mm for aluminum and plastic by hand.
Already successfully in use GERIMA-high power milling heads and carbide inserts will now receive from
the new drive units massive support in the form of a elastic spring spindel or a pneumatic elastic drive.
With this new drive units, the load peaks are avoided and the entire driving force is optimally distributed
over the whole milling process are available. Up to 50% higher performance and tool life are achieved
thereby. Thus, the beveling of its economic use of the area is expanding significantly. Not only the quality
of the milled edge, but also the cost per meter bevel increasing number of applications submitted to other
bevel technics sidelined, especially in the areas of chamfered edges, drilling and pipe ends.GERIMA is
working exclusively with trained distributors in order to ensure that the new innovative technology also is
being used properly.
